Welcome to Full Circle Tattoo! Founded in 2008 by Bill Canales, Full Circle’s hand picked crew has been providing San Diego with world-class custom tattoos for nearly a decade. Each artist was chosen for their distinctive style and personality, ensuring that no matter your tattoo needs, they’ll be met with creativity and professionalism.

As the crew has grown, Full Circle opened a second location in 2016. Set in the beautiful Normal Heights neighborhood, the Full Circle Speakeasy is a comfortable shop where our artists with a larger clientele can expand their artistic vision.

The main Full Circle location in South Park is able to accommodate everything, from simple walk-in tattoos to fully customized bodysuits. We encourage any prospective clients to stop in anytime to say hi, there will always be someone to help you take the right step for your next tattoo.

Take a look at the portfolio section, and feel free to contact us with any questions!

Some Work

Got tattooed by Angel R. last week. The shop it self is full of friendly people, the vibe is so chill. Angel is a cool guy , he gets straight to work & he has pretty dope work. I was in the chair the whole day because i got a big piece. In the end i was happy with the outcome of my tattoo! Came out so rad. Will be going back to see angel soon!Adan T., Yelp
The vibe at Full Circle Tattoo is very chill and friendly. I scheduled my tattoo with James Tran a few months out because he gets booked quickly. His schedule is completely filled because he is a great artist. When you schedule an appointment (in person) there is a $100 non-refundable cash deposit which will be part of your total cost of your tattoo. For example: Your tattoo cost $220, so after you get your tattoo you will only pay $120 since you paid $100 out of your deposit. However, I found it weird that I only saw the tattoo design directly before that actual tattooing began. I would’ve liked to see it more beforehand just to make sure it was what I wanted and that it was designed to my liking because it is permanent. James did a great job so there was no problem, but any tweaks I would’ve made would have cut into my tattoo time. But it was a straight forward tattoo so yeah. They could possibly show you your tattoo beforehand, not sure. Regardless, this shop was a great experience especially since it was my first tattoo. James made it fun and I’ll definitely be going back for more. Therefore, a 5 star.Leanna S., Yelp
I walked in on Saturday looking for a coverup for a bad tattoo I got when I was much younger. From following the artists on Instagram, I knew Michelle took walk-ins and I was able to secure a slot with her a few hours later. Michelle and I worked together to come up with a great coverup that is both classic and beautiful. I love Michelle’s cute, girly-American tattoo style and she really did a wonderful job with my ink. Now I have something I’m proud to show off. As with any tattoo shop worth its salt, check out their Instagram to help you decide which artist would be a good fit for you. Each has their own style. By the way, the prices are also very reasonable, at least in my experience. Make sure you bring $100 cash for the deposit. Thomasina M., Yelp
